Surgical Reality created a 3D visualisation application for medical specialists to provide guidance during minimally invasive procedures.

Surgical Reality (former MedicalVR) is a deep-tech startup based in Nieuw Vennep that is developing a 3D surgery platform, functioning as the navigation system for medical specialists. In collaboration with the Erasmus MC, they are developing their platform for preoperative and operative support, that automatically transforms 2D CT scans into a 3D model that adjusts based on the position of the patient. With the funding raised, the company wants to validate their product for lung surgery, gradually adding more organs within the coming years.
